About Mr. Behna
Galal Behna is one of the founding partners of the firm. Born in 1953, he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in April 1973 from École des Hautes Études Commerciales. He became a chartered accountant for Quebec in December 1974 and for Ontario in August 1995.
After several of his clients extended their activities toward the American Markets, he decided to return to school and, in November 1995, he successfully passed the exams to become a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). Mr. Behna is a certified CPA in the states of Florida and North Carolina.
Mr. Behna completed his training at the start of his career in 1973-1974 with two medium-sized firms, and then established his own firm in 1975. Mr. Behna has over 30 years' experience in consulting and auditing for private companies in various sectors, such as construction, manufacturing and import-export. Mr. Behna specializes in corporate mergers and acquisitions and has clients in Canada (Quebec and Ontario) and the United States (Florida and North Carolina). Mr. Behna sits on several boards of directors for private companies, as well as on the insurance committee of the Ordre des Comptables Agréés du Québec and on the professional expertise committee.
